Fulfilling campaign promises on promoting unions and the benefits of collective bargaining, President Biden signed an Executive Order creating a task force that will help those in the federal workforce to organize. Led by Vice President Kamala Harris and Labor Secretary Marty Walsh, the task force will examine current policies of the National Labor Relations Act and how they can be fully implemented so federal employees can fully engage in labor-management relations.
